Valerie Zammit

Valerie comes from Malta and graduated with honors in Accountancy from the University of Malta. After working for a number of years with different companies on the local scene, filling both accounting and administrative roles, she decided to turn to teaching.
During the next 10 years she taught Accounts and English in secondary school and also spent some time teaching in the primary sector. After taking a TEFL course, she switched to teaching English as a Foreign Language.
In 2013 Valerie gained her Cambridge CELTA qualification and joined the ESE group where she taught General and Business English. She was also involved in preparing students for the First Certificate in English (FCE Cambridge). In 2014, Valerie joined the ETI training staff where she has delivered English language communication programmes for fluency, ESP and teacher training courses focusing on methodology and CLIL. Since 2020, Valerie is a visiting trainer at ETI , she currently works as an English Language & Literature teacher ina  Secondary school in Malta.
