EU Project meeting, METHODS held in Malta
ETIBlog.News.Teacher TrainingETI’s partners on the EU Project METHODS were in Malta for a meeting. The partners come from Belgium, Guadeloupe, Denmark, Slovenia and Malta. This was the second meeting in Malta, the first was hosted at ETI, whereas this meeting was hosted at MCAST, the other Maltese partner in this EU Project.
Partners are currently running courses in their own countries on the 5 Communicative Methods: PhyEmoC, CALL, Simulations, Task-Based Learning and e-Tandem. ETI has already run a number of courses for interested teachers. We have developed a number of specialised courses which cover these 5 Communicative Methods. For more information on CALL click here and for courses that cover PhyEmoC, Simulations and Task-Based Learning then check out our Language Methodology courses.
The Manuals for each of the Methods can be downloaded from the Project Website:
Also downloadable from the website is an International Work Placement Guide, which is useful to the co-ordinators in Sending Institutions and Receiving Organizations, and to students going on Work Placements.
At the meeting, the upcoming meeting in Guadeloupe was discussed, particularly with regard to a conference which will be held there to promote METHODS. The Guadeloupe meeting will be taking place in June 2015.
