Alexandra (Sandra) Attard-Montalto
ETIZertifizierte TrainerSandra joined ETI as Director of Academic Development & Training in 2008 and developed the Teacher Training branch of ETI. She developed a full suite of Teacher Training courses on Methodology, Technology-Enhanced Learning, CLIL and Teaching Business English, amongst many others. Apart from her role in course design and development, she is a full-time teacher trainer and delivers a number of Teacher Training courses herself throughout the year at ETI. Sandra also leads the ETI team on two EU Projects ETI is currently involved in, METHODS, and CLIL4U.
Sandra obtained her Cambridge CELTA in Malta, the Cambridge DELTA in the UK, and the Cert TEB (Certificate in Teaching English for Business) in Vienna. She is also a TEA (Test of English for Aviation) examiner. Sandra has also developed and run undergraduate courses for the Faculty of Education in Malta.
Before joining ETI, Sandra was Centre Manager and earlier, Director of Studies (Academic Management) at Bell Malta, part of the Bell International chain. Prior to turning to languages, she read Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Rome. Sandra then spent 4 years in the UK, utilizing languages by working in the European Stock Markets Department at Excel Computing. During this period, she worked closely with the Reuters financial information team, gaining considerable experience working in the field.
Sandra has 3 children and enjoys listening to music and reading.
